The people guiding the Trust

Our trustees

The Betty Ross Trust is guided by a dedicated board of trustees who oversee the charity’s work, ensure funds are distributed responsibly, and help carry forward Betty’s vision of supporting older people across Perthshire.

Andrea Hay

If you or someone you care for is struggling due to age, ill health, disability, or changing circumstances, support may be available through the Betty Ross Trust.

Althea Kennedy

Althea is a retired solicitor and former partner in the Trusts and Executries Department at Macnabs Solicitors in Perth. She brings many years of experience in trust and estate matters and is also involved in the work of other local charitable trusts.

Jacqui has more than 20 years’ experience in grant funding across both the voluntary and public sectors. Throughout her career she supported national, regional and local projects, helping organisations secure and manage funding to deliver valuable services within their communities.

Before retiring, Jacqui worked in community education and community safety, managing projects that supported voluntary and public sector organisations across Scotland.
